Therapeutic Swim Lessons (TSL)
Individual and group year-round swimming lessons are provided to children and adults with special needs. The lessons are ideal for individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, diabetes, and many other conditions.
Respiratory Health Improvement Project (RHIP)
Pools of Hope is partnering with LAC & USC Medical Center Mobile Clinic to provide a monthly asthma clinic to children in North Long Beach, Paramount and Compton, CA. The program also focuses on prevention and education.
A summer community program to promote health, fitness and nutrition for children of all abilities. The program includes water games, art classes, swim lessons, nutrition education and snacks to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Tutoring Program
This is an education tutorial program that provides children 5-17 years of age with tutoring to enhance their academic success. Participants are rewarded with a half-hour free swimming lesson to encourage academic success. This program also targets boys of color.
